Right In The Kisser

While practicing his goalie reflexes with a tennis ball, Ty thought he could pull his mask up for better visibility. Not only did he put his mask down for the next shot, he decided to wear his cup. Yep, he's getting smarter!

RadioLake Performs at Hastings Cafe'

Mackenzie performed at the Hastings Cafe' with his band called RadioLake tonight. They played 14 songs (6 of them were written by the band).
They had a demo album for sale and sold enough to cover costs... what more can you ask for.
By the end of the performance they had attracted about 75 listeners in a cafe' that normally holds about 25.
This will more than likely be Mackenzie's last performance before the mission.

The Off Season

This is a nice video about the off season. Worth the watch! (just click the title of this post "the off season" to view).
As a side note, Hailey & Tyler are finishing up their school tests this week. Tyler will test within this next month to see if he qualifies for running start at Big Bend Community College.
Kenz is counting down the days (just 20 days until MTC).
Dad is counting down the days until our family Cannon Beach, OR trip (just 7 more days).

Where's Waldo?

Where's Waldo?
I'm lost in the crowd, but you can see me in my funeral hat corralling the crowd on the far right side of the picture. We just had a funeral at the Schultz Cemetery near Marlin, WA... sort of out in the middle of nowhere.

The Great Movie "getaway"

Try this link for a preview of a great movie. Deb & I went without kids this past weekend. I don't know if it was just good to get away or if the movie was really that good. Either way we both enjoyed it.

Fire Fighter Funeral

We had a fireman's funeral here in Moses Lake this week. Thought you would like to see a picture of the casket on the truck. It was a nice service.

Farewell

Mackenzie spoke in 4th ward yesterday for his "mission farewell". He spoke for 20 min. and all went well.
