Have you ever wanted to give your kids the bird?

Well.... I did! A beautiful blue parakeet. They named it Baloo for the first day, only to change it to Leland after Creeshes new found love from the play Oklahoma. Who knows, parakeet might be good with a little ketchup, we'll have to see.

You missed your calling in life. You should have been a zoo keeper.

Have you completely lost your mind???? A Bird?? I am shocked and confused. You know that goes against everything I stand for and believe in!! You should definately get a cat. Cassia's cute, the frogs are cool - the bird, not so much! please don't take my comment personally, my siblings are to blame for how I feel about birds! Good Luck with Leland!

Come to think of it...I think I have given my kids the bird....oh no, my mistake....that was Jason :) I agree with Kevin......why don't you move to Oakley and open up a petting zoo (no petting dart frogs though). Where did you get this love for animals? You must have got all my animal love because I don't have much in my system. Becky...I am so sorry. I know how you feel about bird. If Craig ever gets a snake, I will never darken his door again. Mark my words brother :)

Congrats on the bird, I guess. Have a little advice for bird lovers. Don't put them by a ac vent. Been there done that for KaeLynn. Didn't last. And Craig your house is a little chilly. Leland huh? Everyone loves Leland. We are off the mountain for a day or two. Got to see the last Oklahoma and it was great. Wish you were here. Love mom and grandma

I wish I had known you changed it to Leland before he got to work this morning. I think that would make him blush! I'll spread the word. Good luck with the bird!

Hope the bird is still flying. Just to let you know we are heading to the mountain in the morning. We had so many birds ourselves (humming birds) in our camp that we couldn't even count them. Have a good week everyone. Love you all, Love mom
