Family Home Evening

Good family home evening. Not that most of our family home evenings aren't good, but this one will stand out. A lot of the time it is more like "family hell evening", but this time Creesh took the bull by the horns and prepared a lesson that would be meaningful to our family. She taught us Jacob 2-19 and hand wrote the scripture on a piece of paper for all to keep with a string attached for us to put on our finger this week. This is reminding us to be of service just like mom who is in Oakley serving Heavenly Father by helping Grandma get ready for her mission. She challenged all of us to do something this week to help Grandma Burch.

Craig, just read your blog and was happy to see that the kids have not entered the stage of rebellion yet. When does Deb come back to save you? We were happy to hear that her mom will be serving a mission. How are your parents doing? So, fill me in on your golf scores; no, just tell me how badly you are taking it to your brother--that's what counts. Well, maybe you had better include how you are beating up on N. Manley as well; we can't let him succeed. Our mission is moving along right nicely. Hope things are going well with you and your family. We still think about you alot. Love, John and Peggy

Good job Creesh. Glad to hear you are still having fhe without the mom. That is good you are helping grandma Burch. She will be kind of busy the rest of the month. We are on our way to serve at the temple. Have a great day. Love mom and grandma M.
