Ty played 4 games at Moses Lake's first ever tournament held in Wenatchee. The scores were 18-0, 13-0, 12-0 and 11-0. The team as a whole, walked away with new found appreciation for the game and a desire to get better. At the end of the tournament, the Moses Lake team was recognized during the awards presentation and given a standing ovation for their efforts in even attending such an event. Not only was this Moses Lake's first tournament, it was their first game together... ever!
In a 4 game tournament, a goalie will defend about 80 shots on goal. Tyler defended more than 250 this weekend. That helps explain the MVP award he received. Regardless of the scores, it was a wonderful time and certainly beat going to a baseball game.

Congratulations Ty! I would love to come and watch a game. I would love to come and watch your dad play too, but he would forget I was even there.
Thanks for sharing. Congrats to Ty. Looks fun, but dangerous. Do you remember talking to us Craig? Love you much, mom
