Letter from Elder Morrison

hey family. this week has been pretty good. it's gotten a little colder. in fact, it snowed this morning, although it wasnt for very long, and none of it stuck. i guess the real highlight of this week would be conference. i really enjoyed Elder Holland's talk on the Atonement. i would suggest you read/listen to that if you didnt get the chance to live. saturday, we had breakfast with our recent convert and his wife and then watched conference there. then we had lunch with the ward mission leader of the o'fallon ward and watched conference there. then we went to red robin with the priesthood of the ward before the priesthood session. brother schmutz bought us dinner, which was really nice. then yesterday, for lunch, we went to our ward mission leader's house and had lunch there, with a dinner appointment after conference. it was a meal appointment weekend!
so transfer calls came last night. Elder Goudie is going to be my killer.
Elder Tolman is going to Goudie's area, which is in Columbia, MO. he'll be training there.
for those of us who cant read the blog page (or that are losing it as they
say) my address is:

1506 Savannah Circle
O'Fallon, MO 63368

and just so you know mom, i think you always told me not to say crappy, too.
just a little 'table turning' i guess.
our ward mission leader has a guitar, i learned this week. and he said he doesnt know how to play it, nor does he have time to right now anyways, so he let me borrow it for the next 6 weeks. it's pretty nice having that there, although my fingers have been pretty sore building up those callouses again.
the medicine is doing well, and even my companion commented the other day "that medicine must be doing good, because i dont think you've had a bad day for a while." so yeah, it's doing good. i'm still kinda struggling with feeling kindof alone, but that's kindof the definition of a missionary.
yesterday in Elder Holland's talk, he started by saying that his message was for the lonely, whether it be...and then listed some things. he said, "it may be a missionary, in the first few weeks of homesickness" and i leaned over to my companion, and said "or the last." lol.
well, i cant really think of much else that has happened this week. i hope everything is going well for you, and that you dont get too trunky. i'm trying not to be, although i'm really excited to go home and be with you, and with my friends, and just be where i feel i belong.

love you,
Elder Morrison

If I didn't say before - then let me say thanks for putting his letters on the blog so that I can read what and how he's doing! (since I am a terrible writer!)
