Letter from Elder Morrison

hey family. after this email, i will have but 5 more to write. i think you may need to update the countdown on the blog. i dont think it's quite right. anyways...
mom, thanks for the card and the money. i'm really glad you didnt send me cadbury eggs or something that i would be tempted to eat that would be really bad for me. as of this morning, i have lost 42 pounds since the beginning of the year. i figured it out, and that was 12% of my body weight.if everything goes according to plan, i will be lower than when i went to the MTC. it wont be lower than the lowest i was, but i'll leave lower than when i came.
this week has been pretty crazy. monday and tuesday were spent getting Elder Tolman ready for transfers and cleaning up a bit. wednesday was transfers and getting all settled in. me and elder goudie are just picking up where we left off. not much has changed. it's like we just took a 6 week break and are just getting back at it. on friday we got to go to the temple. we went for an endowment session and then when we got done with that, we went to the baptistry and did confirmations with the crystal city branch youth. it was great to see a lot of them there. danielle was able to go as well. elder goudie and i were amazed at how much she's changed for the better since we left. she's a great girl, and it was great to see her in the temple. i was the ones that did her confirmations. it was a very good night. we had stake conference this last weekend. we had a great adult session on saturday night. it was all about the Atonement of Christ. we watched the movie 'the Lamb of God'. after that, it was basically a testimony meeting with people that the stake presidency wanted to hear from. the spirit was very strong there. then we had a broadcast from SLC for our stake conference. we heard from Dallin H. Oaks and President Monson.
i'm pretty excited to be coming home next month. sounds like dad is pretty trunky too. i'm excited to be able to play music and such. i'll have a lot to do when i get home. by the way, when is the cub scout thing? is it really on memorial weekend, and i have to miss springfest?
i've pretty much written down a bunch of things that i want to do when i get home. plus some things that i know are going to be happening. i'll probably just have to play it by ear though. well, i guess that's about it for this week. i guess until next week...
