Letter from Elder Morrison

hey family. after today, it's just 4 p-days left. 3 weeks until mothers day, and then a week and a half from then i'll be home. i'm pretty stoked. speaking of mothers day, when is your church? i think it's going to be a little harder to line up this time, because we're on the 1:00 schedule, with PEC at 11:30. let me know what time your church is. sounds like i'm going to be pretty busy the week i get home.
this week, we've had an amazing thing happen. there was a guy who called us from the ward. his name is marty robinson, and has been going to church for 16 years. however, he was never baptized. he married a member of the church, and the members of this ward have been waiting for 16 years for the phone call we got from him. he said he wants to be baptized. he wants to be able to baptize his youngest daughter, who will be baptized the first saturday of may. so after a visit with him and his wife, and a baptismal interview, he will be baptized this saturday. it's amazing how quick this has come to be. i mean, 16 years isnt quick, but after all of that time, it is so all of the sudden and is happening so quickly. we're really excited for him.
that is the most exciting thing of the week.
our ward mission leader is the one that is taking stuff to oakley. he's actually going to burley. it's really great that they're heading out that way, because there's no way i could get that stuff home. i'm going to try to come home with one suitcase, because i guess you have to pay for any luggage you check, even if it's just one bag. so the more i can put in one bag, the better. i dont want to have to pay more than i need to. i donated some clothes to a clothing drive, because i just wont have room for it. thought i'd at least put it to good use.
you know, it's kinda hard to not be trunky when everyone is constantly reminding you. it just adds to the anxiety of wanting to come home.
i guess that's all that there really is to report this week. i suppose i'll write a bit next week. love you, Elder Morrison

Yes, Eler Kenz. You are on the end. The baptism sounds like you will go out bringing a new member in. Congratulations. We wish you the very best in your last weeks. Take care. We love you, grandma and grandpa
